Full Program & Dates

Cosmopolis Festival Kavala

The Cosmopolis Festival Kavala 2026

Every July, the Old Town of Kavala turns into a three-night open-air stage for the Cosmopolis Festival Kavala. Organized by the Municipality of Kavala and DIPETHEKAVALAS, this year’s edition runs from July 3 to July 5, 2026, spreading music, film, exhibitions, and children’s workshops across five historic venues in the Panagia district. Most of the program is completely free — only the nightly headline concerts at Mehmet Ali Square require a ticket.

Practical Information

Almost every strand of the Cosmopolis Festival Kavala — COSMOkids, COSMOrituals, COSMOstreet, and COSMOcinema — is free to attend. Only the headline COSMOconcerts at Mehmet Ali Square require a ticket. All venues sit within walking distance inside Kavala’s Old Town, so it’s easy to move between a workshop, an exhibition, and a concert in the same evening. Arrive early for the 21:30 concerts if you want a spot close to the stage — Mehmet Ali Square fills up fast on headline nights.
